LimeChat, an AI-based chatbot raises $750,000 seed funding from Pi-Ventures and Stellaris Venture Partners to help D2C brands build a compelling buying experience.
Gurgaon-based startup LimeChat was founded by a duo-team of IIT- alumnus Aniket Bajpai and Nikhil Gupta in 2020 amid covid-pandemic induced surged in adoption of e-commerce in India. This Artificial Intelligence (A)I-based chatbot , LimeChat is empowering D2C brands with deep engagement on various chat mediums like WhatsApp, Facebook, Messenger, Instagram etc.
A Grand View Research reports that this Global Chatbot market is set to reach a staggering figure of $123 billion by 2025, with an annual growth rate of 24.3 percent. LimeChat is currently working with more than 25 direct-to-consumer brands across the fashion, beauty, cosmetic and health and wellness verticals. It has also raised a pre-seed round from Titan Capital early last year.
Businesses these days are looking for personalized ways of dealing and engaging with their customers. At the same time, more and more customers are preferring to buy through chat, mediums as compared to websites and apps because of their personalized store-like experience added with their faster responses and 24/7 customer support.
